Who is the person behind the photos?

The person behind the photos is called Natasha and is 21 years old. Born in S.C. de Bariloche, a little mountain city in the south of Argentina.

How did you discover photography and what makes you keep on doing it?
I discovered photography when I was a child, but about 6 years ago I realized it was the only medium that allowed me to develop my expressionist side feeling completely immersed.
The reason that I keep shooting, besides that I fo
und my language in it, it`s also beacause two years ago I discovered analogue photography.
Until this day it continues to amaze me, and I keep falling in love with it, this is the main reason why.

If you could be one age forever, how old would you be?
Definetely I would choose the time whwn I was betwen 4 and 6 years old. The memories are scarse, but undoubtedly they become more present when I look at photos from that time.
I love to see me naive and smiling, submerged in the innocence of the imagined psyche.

Favourite websites?
Flickrs, Tumblrs and analog photographers websites.
I also like to see, make and share the analog photography magazine that me and my boyfriend do, called REVISTA IGLÜ: http://issuu.com/revistaiglu

Tell us two bad habbits you would like not have
I have the habit of leaving everything for the las moment and leaving the closet doors open.

What are your passions besides photography?
I don`t have other passions that compares to the passion I have for photography, but I there are infinite situations that gives me pleasure.

What does photography mean to you?
You could say that photography is the root that supports my internal forest and lets me connect with my essence.

Who is the person behind the photos?

I am Tina Sosna from Germany. I love to be in the forest or at a river and I really think love is the only thing you need.

How did you discover photography and what makes you keep on doing it?
I always wanted to catch little details, moments and feelings and share them with others. So I started to take pictures and I never stopped.
Love and passion are things you can't turn off and they are so connected with photography.

Is there anything you couldn’t live without?
my Love, his love and nature.

Is there anything you want express with your works?
feelings.

What do you expect from your photographic future?
I don't really expect anything, but I hope I can keep on taking pictures also in a job. Photos who tell something and let you fall into another world.

Thanks to: Tina Sosna

Never stop exploring by Paul Bailey

Paul explains us his sense of adventure and the relationship with his photography.

My name is Paul and I am 29. I live in Manchester England.

For me adventure is a way of escaping the bustle and the humdrum of the working week and venturing out to the hills, valleys and mountains. I think it's vital to sometimes get lost for awhile, de clutter my mind and explore the simple beauty that surrounds us. It’s that simple freedom and beauty that keeps drawing me back.

You don’t need to get on a plane, and you don’t need to trek Everest to feel freedom and adventure. There are hills, valleys, coasts, forests, waterfalls, rivers, lakes and mountains that need to be explored and they are right outside our front doors. Henri Matisse said “There are flowers everywhere, for those who bother to look”, and I can’t think of a better way to put it.

I think to express ones self and live creatively is important, and photography has become my means of doing so. For me photography and exploration goes hand in hand, it’s a way of documenting what’s around me. With a camera in your hand you tend to look for the good in everything, and what better way to be? I don’t feel like I have scratched the surface yet. There’s a big wide world out there that needs exploring.
